Basset Furniture jumps after the release of Q4 earnings

Basset Furniture Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: BSET) shares jumped 30% on Monday after the company announced an $87 million contract with J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. according to the agreement, J.B. Hunt will acquire Basset Furniture's Zenith Freight Lines division.

Earlier, the company had reported its fiscal Q4 2021 results in which it posted a net income of $5 million or $0.52 per share compared to $6.5 million or $0.65 per share a year ago. The company had revenue of $129.9 million, representing YoY growth of 9.7%.

L3Harris produced mixed Q4 results.

L3Harris Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LHX) also announced mixed Q4 2021 results and issued a fiscal 2022 outlook. The company's revenue dropped 7%  YoY to $4.4 billion, and on an organic basis, it was down 1%, for the full-year revenue was down 2% to $17.8 billion.

Earnings in Q4 2021 were $2.46 with non-GAAP adjusted ed earnings of $3.3 per share, which topped estimates of $2.86 per share. For fiscal 2022 the company ex[ects revenue of between $17.3 billion and $17.7 billion and EPS of $10.75 to $11.05.

Otis Worldwide up 4% after Q4 2021 earnings beat

Otis Worldwide (NYSE: OTIS) shares were up 4% after the company topped Q$42021 earnings estimates. The company reported earnings of $0.72 per share, topping consensus estimates of $0.68. Revenue during the quarter was $3.57 billion compared to consensus estimates of $3.5 billion.

The company grew its earnings and sales in Q4 2021 and the full year. Net sales were up 2.2%, while organic sales were up 2.8%. As a result, GAAP EPS and adjusted EPS were up 12.1% and 9.1%, respectively.

Trane Technologies reports revenue of $3.6 billion in Q4.

Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT) reported fiscal Q4 2021 earnings of $1.36 per share, topping consensus estimates of $1.31 per share. The company had revenue of $3.6 billion in Q4 2021, beating analysts’ projections of $3.55 billion. Full-year EPS for 2022 is expected to be range between $6.95 and $7.15 per share exceeding consensus estimates of $6.97 per share.

NXP Semiconductors tops Q4 earnings

NXP Semiconductors NV (NASDAQ: NXPI) shares were up almost 3% in extended trading after the company announced Q4 earnings and revenue topping consensus estimates. The Dutch multinational reported a net income of $602 million or $2.24 per share and revenue of $3.04 billion, representing YoY growth of 21%. Analysts had expected the company to post EPS of $2.08 on revenue of $3 billion.
